Considerhumanism.org...huh?

Most recently, my friend Robert Hertha found an ad in the Atlanta Journal Constitution endorsed by Consider Humanism. After a little investigation I have found that Consider Humanism is apart of the American Humanist Association's marketing program. Humanists seek to do good without religion. Their ad campaign has received attention from CNN, and The New York Times. Consider Humanism has ads on Television, buses, and newspapers across the nation.

I have watched their press conference videos, and it is upsetting to me because they take many passages from the Bible out of context. Their so called press conference is rather silly, with an audience of what sounds to be one person. They speak with a tone of hatred and malice towards Christians and Muslims. The press conference is filled with loads of scripture taken out of context and references mispronounced. So before you think about giving these people an ounce of credit remember they don't even know what they are talking about. Thankfully, someone at Stand to Reason (str.org), has also addressed this also. As Christians we should be ready to express the truth of the Gospel, by responding to the ideologies of secular society. 1 Peter 3:15

I have registered on their forum as Truth Seeker. I have written many replies and I hope you will read the most notable one on Tolerance. I think my reply conveys what is at the heart of their beliefs and their ridiculous claims.

If you are a humanist, and you think you have the right ideas I would encourage you to ConsiderChristanity by ConsideringTheBible, and by ConsideringTheEvidence.
